The courses I am currently teaching in Spring 2023 are:
Math 321-Abstract Algebra II
This course covers rings and fields, Quotient rings, ideals and ring homomorphisms. Further, we cover polynomial rings and factorization.
Math 115-College Algebra
This course covers equations, linear and quadratic functions, polynomials, and exponential functions, along with how these functions are similar and how they are different.
Math 118E-Math for the Arts and Humanities
In all my courses, I am also looking for ways to assess students in different non-traditional ways. One way I have done so is through a concept map. This is a great tool to allow students to show knowledge they have gained in ways they see it. I am happy to discuss how you can use this as an assessment alternative in your courses.
